He started his career in irrigation in 1987. While working for an irrigation company doing installations and repairs, he received an AS degree in Graphic Arts. Once out of school, the love of working in the green industry got him involved with a small full service landscape company and obtained his Irrigation Contractors License in 1999. During the years with Proscape Inc, the company grew to have over 400 employees throughout Florida. Having a computer background and managing some of the most technical system in Florida, David was sent to the Toro factory training in their OSMAC system and has an advanced certification in hardware and software. David was also sent to Rainbird’s Arizona Maxicom training location and has a level 3 certification in hardware and software. Along with a Water Auditor certification it allowed David to design, install, program and maintain some of the largest system in Florida like The Villages and Solivita. David was not only the licensed irrigation contractor for the company, he also rose to be a regional manager of 4 branch offices throughout Florida in all aspects of the green industry. This has given him the wholistic view and knowledge to properly maintain all aspects of any landscape. This allows Kohler Outdoor to maintain any system with the well rounded knowledge of all aspects of the green industry. David trains his teams to the highest level of standards including communication with the customer and strives to exceed the expectations of every customer.
